In their pre-school year the children begin consciously to learn about musical concepts such as rhythm and pulse.
They are introduced to solfa hand signs (do, re, mi) to help develop their sense of pitch.
They develop their notation and are reading basic rhythm patterns.
Their co-ordination skills are challenged through more complex movement games and they are learning to sing in canon.
